SPAM-LOW: Products.Category not existing in DocumentItems

Hi Support,
 
Products.Category is a field that looks like the best field for "product groups" like it is used in ERP-systems.
Unfortunatly this is one of the few fields not transferred to   DocumentItems  table if a product is added to a document.
Many of our clients are using Products.Category and cannot analyse the Quotes and Orders based on the category field.
 
=> is there any chance for you to add the category field to DocumentItems  table and fill it when adding products to the document?

Yes, the Category field is a little confusing as one would expect it to do more than it does.

Where I've had clients with similar requirements, I use a CustomText field - which does the job just as well.
