Are you using a CRM?
and/or something like OneDrive/Sharepoint?
Heya Matt!
We are using ConnectWise for CRM duties.
Are you putting the QV URLs on the CW opportunity? Is it easier for them to get the URL that way?
If not, and on the basis you're not missing anything with QuoteValet Mobile (it's not like an option you're not seeing), and it's unlikely to be added.
It would be technically possible to automatically populate a simple Excel file with things like:
DocNo / DocDate / SalesRep / QV URL
If that were made available somewhere, they could do things with that.
Avoiding things like QW licensing will always create moderately clunky workarounds like the above, unfortunately.
Oh, and I should add...this is STRICTLY because they don't save the PDF and store it, instead relying on the client link email to look at it.
I'm a pillock... does this not do what you need?
Yes! Can they get to that without a QW/QWW license?
And not "yes you're a pillock"...just sayin'...
I think uploading URLs sometimes get flagged.. so might get a double-reply to this at some point.
This uses a QuoteValet licence and assuming they've got access rights set ok:
quotevalet dot com forward slash insight
Oh. Yeah, I forgot about that.
Do QuoteValet licenses drop off after the user logs off? Or are they locked in for the day?
As soon as QV is touched, the licence is locked to that user for the rest of the day... putting us back in clunky/Excel/workaround territory.
Is this where the term "I've gone up the Nile" comes into play? LOL
OK, let me get with the one sales guy who is being the most difficult and set some boundaries. :D
As always, I appreciate you, Matt!
A couple of my clients have a (single) 'Sales' QW login for this type of purpose, and everyone that doesn't really use QW but needs to get at this sort of information, uses that.. but you didn't hear that from me ;)
Heard what? (confused)
;)

Good afternoon!
I'm trying to come up with a solution for our sales team when it comes to viewing quotes we have prepared for them.
Currently, they don't have access to QuoteWerks on a regular basis. I showed them QuoteValet mobile and they like the idea of viewing the quotes on there versus clicking the client link (like they have been doing...to my chagrin).
Is it possible to have the ability to search for quotes by client? Currently their options are view all quotes from the past 2 weeks. They have several that are months old (don't get me started).
I would like something where they don't use a QW license...or even a QWW license as all they want to do is view and comment.
Thoughts?
Thank you!
