Sudden crashing of one layout can be caused sometimes by a “problem” printer association.  



First, ensure that you have a default printer set in your Windows settings and that you do not have the option checked to "Let Windows manage my default printer".  Try setting the default printer to "Fax" if none of the printers listed resolves the issue.


If that does not fix the problem, try the two steps below on a machine that is able to edit the layout

 Under Report --> Options, uncheck the box that says "Always print to Windows default printer"

And then the other step go to File --> Printer Setup and select the Microsoft XPS Document Writer as this is a standard Windows printer:

Then be sure to Save and Close your layout so these changes are committed.
