When attempting to open any application/EXE you may get a message stating:
"The app you're trying to install isn't a Microsoft verified app"
This means that Windows is blocking your attempt to run the application OR you are running the S version of Windows.
For the former, to fix, head over to Start, and click the Settings (gear) icon:
Click the Apps entry:
Select the Advanced app settings option:
Make sure this drop down is set to Anywhere, like so:
Click the Back arrow on the top left to ensure your new setting is saved.
Note that if you are using an "S" version of Windows you cannot run QuoteWerks or other related applications. You MUST disable S mode for Windows. Contact your IT team or your computer manufacturer for additional assistance in disabling S mode for Windows.
