Don't give them the URL, no?
Or are you maybe talking about the automated emails that QuoteValet sends in situations like Not Viewed Yet.
If so, turn those automations off?
No. That is already how I operate. But with the "Active Quote Lists" feature any time I uploaded a quote to QV it would immediately be available and visible to the customer. Se this video.
That is actually what I do now. It becomes an issue if I make the "Active Quote List" visible. See this link. Then as soon as a quote is uploaded to QV, it would be accessible and finable by the user.
Ah, gotcha.
Option 1: Disable the Active Quotes List.
Option 2: Overhaul your QV templates, including not showing Active Quotes.
Option 3: Wait (and hope!) for the QW dev. team to add a toggle per quote for whether it's an Active quote.
Yeah. I know how to not show the Active Quotes. This is Option 3, a feature request.

The ability to have customers view active quotes is wonderful. The problem is if I have a quote that I have in draft form that I am not ready for the client to see yet. It is not uncommon that I will put a quote together and upload it into QV to make sure that I have all the lines displaying the way I want it to. For example I will want to confirm that all lines that I want not to print are hidden, that the right items have the quantity set to be changeable, and many other things that I check for after uploading my draft to QV. I would not want the customer to see the quote while it is in this draft stage.
