Import Wizard

We had a problem where a (new) user imported products using the wizard and unfortunately left the default Import Mode value at “Delete all existing products …..” and cleared all products.

 

Fortunately, we keep a list of all products in excel sheets, so we imported again. I noticed when importing there was a message on the status popup that it backed up products. Has anyone reloaded data from this into the Product Database after experiencing the same issue?

 

Has anyone encountered this and changed the default in order to avoid the disaster of deleting all product data?


It would be helpful to have an alert saying " are you sure you want to delete all products" - it warns when the database field is left blank (a sensible default).

I've recently started using QuoteWerks and encountered an issue where the product database isn't syncing correctly with my inventory system. I'm not sure what’s causing the glitch since all connections seem to be in place.
