Are we able to write to and modify the Quotewerks native products database on Corporate Edition?

Yes, if you have the correct permissions to do so. If you go to .....

Utilities -> User Maintenance -> (User Name) -> Edit -> Access

and type the word 'Product' in the search box, you will see highlighted, datasource permissions that you can set for individual users.
