We have the following problem: The products we sell cost X from the manufacturer but to reach us (or a project), the project is X+%. The % is variable depending on supplier and products.

We would like to create a column in our quotes where we can input the cost from the manufacturer. Then we need another formula where we can input a %.

The unit cost should be calculated based on this. i.e Cost from manufacturer + additional %

Is there any way to achieve this?

Yes and No.

There's no way for QuoteWerks to do this.

It could be done with a custom script; this would be able to understand all of the 'logic' you can require and update a particular field (with a particular part number, say) with the value you need.
