Feature Request - Limit access to product database on user-by-user bassis

We have three product databases from which we pull pricing:

  • KVM A Database
  • KVM B Database
  • COTs Switch Database

Some of our account managers should only have access to KVM A database

Some account managers have access to both KVM A and KVM B databases

Account managers that have access to KVM B database also need access to COTs Switch Database.

This is what the Product Data Source Security feature, under Tools>Options>Security, is designed to do.

You can set View access on the entire database, and even set permissions to Create, Edit, or Delete products, all down to specific users or groups.
