Is it possible to add a required item above the item you are adding into the quote.

I want to add a comment to the quote to prompt the user to do something every time they add a certain item to a quote.

It doesn't appear to be documented in the Help, but on the Required Items -> Edit Items screen there is an option for "New Line" which allows you to add a Comment. It places the Comment BELOW, rather than ABOVE the Item, but does this provide a solution for you?
