Not currently possible to automate this.
QW needs to update the PSA as items might have changed.
What I guess could be possible:
You get your email
You run a script that prompts for the Doc#
Opens QW (if not already open)
Opens the relevant document
You get the prompt to convert to order
(POSSIBLY) we automate keystrokes/save windows to automate the rest of it
It's the multitude of pop-ups that are the issue, even with something like autohotkeys there are so many opportunities for the process to change/be interrupted, I couldn't imagine it being usable.
I agree. IMHO, this would need to be a QuoteWerks led endeavour.
If there were a command line way with a parameter of the quote number or something like that with an /AUTOACCEPTANDCONVERT parameter that would likely be enough. We don't change anything significant in any of the popups within PSA and since PSA is REST and WEBHOOK capable, I could easily automate that part.
Or ideally, QuoteWerks and QuoteValet have a service between them that keeps things humming along with realtime updates including the integrations.

Has anybody figured out a way to automate the import after customer acceptance of a QuoteValet quote??
Today, we get an email, and that makes someone go back to QuoteWerks, open the quote, and upon opening, if the customer signed/accepted in QuoteValet, it completes the import and then only if you manually convert/save and update the Quote it invokes the PSA integration to get the PSA updated.
The current email notification can easily be my trigger for automation, but the mechanical steps that occur in QuoteWerks and the database updates/PSA updates is what I'd like to avoid having to do manually. Our steps don't vary, and it's just busy work for our team.
Ideas? Thoughts?
