It is hard to find our items in the warehouse (we are a small company) and I'd like to designate a place to add a code for the item location such as: E26A for Electrical Section, Shelf 26, A side.  How do I do that? 

Two places to change:

1) Products -> select an Item -> Edit -> Custom tab -> double left-click one of the labels and rename it "Location" -> enter the appropriate value, e.g. "E26A" into the textbox next to the label

2) View menu -> Customise Columns -> find that same column and rename that too

When you pull Items from the database onto your Quote, then the Location entered in the Products windows will be also be pulled onto the Quote. You can then create a PDF Layout for a picklist.
